**IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY**

 POSITION:    Marketing Research Trainee

 SCHEDULE: Up to 20 hours per week/ Flexible hours

 DUTIES INCLUDE

  • Assist in writing/preparation of questionnaires, field instructions, other miscellaneous forms and materials
  • Report preparation including chart development and production
  • Data entry
  • Editing/Coding
  • Some administrative duties (proofing, copying, prepare shipments, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Point, Word and Excel
  • Organizational skills, detail orientation
  • Interest in learning about or pursuing career in Market Research
  • Previous office experience (preferred, but not required)

SALARY:       $10 per hour

Responsibilities:

We are looking for self-motivated sales consultants to create new business opportunities for MRC.  The sales consultant is expected to generate budgeted or in excess of budgeted revenue and profitability during year one.  Also, recognize opportunities for growth and implement strategies that will enhance customer satisfaction, company market share, revenue growth and profitability.  This employee should discuss business strategies with senior executives and contribute to the creation & positioning of our service offerings.  This employee should develop and manage strategic client relationships and oversee research engagements with clients and research staff.

•May work remotely and/or in the New York office

MRC will provide:
•Unpaid training on MRC’s products and services

Skills and Experience:

•Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
•3-5 years of sales and/or business development related experience with demonstrated success.
•Solid understanding of research methodologies in order to be able to interact with knowledgeable clients.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills
•Self-motivated, innovative and creative
